When classified by heat source, it is classified into volcanic hot spring with magma underground of the volcano as heat source and non-volcanic hot spring where groundwater is heated by geothermal and the like irrespective of the volcano. Depending on the ingredients involved, there are hot springs of various colors, smells and indications.

The quality of the hot spring here was a soft and smooth hot water quality.

Slide

There is a family bath with a slide in Kumamoto prefecture. Because the hot springs are slimy, there is a slide faster.About 1 hour can be borrowed at 2000 yen per room.
