Peach Blossom Tree

Hina-matsuri, the Festival of Dolls, is held on March 3rd.People celebrate the health and happiness of girls.Today, the doll sets are smaller with fewer dolls and as few as just one level to be suitable for Japanese houses.The dolls are usually set up at around sometime by 24th of February. Hishimochi, Shirozake(rice wine) and peach flowers are displayed together.Modern families celebrate the day by eating sushi-dishes and create a Hina-matsuri inspired cakes.

Peach Blossom Flower

This is Ikebana for Hinamatsuri.I use Sweet pea,Freesia refracta,Lemon Leaf and Peach Blossom Flower.Although the flowers are not bloomed yet, I can leave enough space assuming that they will bloom.Why Lemon Leaf called Lemon Leaf it is not smell like Lemon it shaped like Lemon so it’s named Lemon Leaf.
